Morgan has been immersed in art for as long as she can remember—so it came as little surprise when she began selling her paintings at the farmers market at just eight years old. Growing up in Salt Lake City, she found early inspiration in the quiet beauty of everyday life. Painting became her way of pausing time and telling stories beyond words, often losing herself in the intricacies of form and detail.

Her creative path eventually led her to grad school in Seattle to study architectural design. While she appreciated the structure and discipline of architecture, she longed for something more personal and expressive—which is exactly what she found in tattooing.

After battling imposter syndrome and making a brave career pivot, Morgan began her tattoo apprenticeship six months ago. Though she’s new to Lucid and now apprenticing under Keely, she’s already built a solid foundation elsewhere and brings that experience with her as she continues to grow in her craft.

Back in Salt Lake City, Morgan has found the perfect intersection of her fine art background and her desire to create lasting, meaningful work. Each tattoo is approached like a painting: thoughtful, intentional, and rich with emotion.

When she’s not at the studio, you’ll find her with her partner Julia and their four pets, or working on a new painting series. From canvas to skin, Morgan’s journey has taken many forms—and she’s only just getting started.
